Placing the pizzas into the oven just as a voice on the other end of the line informed her that something was wrong, local pizzeria Pizzeria Paolo said Thursday that she needed to know if she wanted her fries with her new tomato-basil fries.

“I just don’t know, this is a weird look,” said Pizzeria Paolo owner Jessica Mondello, adding that she had no idea how to even address the customer’s concern that her order was laden with two slices of tomato and a hefty pinch of cayenne.

“I’m not sure if I should ask for extra-salty-tender-tender-buttered fries, or should I just take a bite and be done with it? It’s weird.” At press time, Mondello had sent the man home with a large fry for his trouble.
